It's a well-know fact that Link's Awakening on the Game Boy was AWESOME.
So when someone told me that a 3D remake was almost a whole year in the works, I just had to take a look. Crafted by video game artist "MithosKuu", this badass Zelda remake project has been gathering steam since last fall. Take a look at some of these kickass images and start praying that Nintendo's too busy counting money to notice this guy.
Damn, the first boss battle with the giant worm thing looks better already.

Again: DAMN. This project looks sooooo sweet. I can't wait to see when (and if) it's finished. According to the guy's blog, he's pretty much done with all the character modeling and is now working on the Overworld Map. Good luck, man. Let's hope that Nintendo doesn't stop you from living the dream!
