Mega Man has always been a series known for its action as much as its music. When makes the soundtracks even better is the amount of fan-made material that makes its way into the Internet, like the lyrical legends of Mega Man fans like BrentalFloss. We like good hip-hop, and we're bombing down with the top 3 Mega Man mixes around the Web -- cause that's how we roll.
[#3] Mega Man vs. Fire Man, Dead Prez - "Hell Yeah"
I'm going to go on record and say that I've never beaten Fire Man's stage without help. It's not the enemies or the fire that burns me, it's the ridiculous jumping pattern just before the Robot Master's gate. That's why this rap video-slash-speed run makes me see red... but I can't argue against that fact the level burns, but music's HOT.
[#2] Splash Woman, Music Video Mayhem - "Mega Ran"
It's a fun fact that Slash Woman's the first female Robot Master, and based on my research, there's a lot of fan art dedicated to this aquatic fembot. Hey, mermaids are hot, alright?! Listen to those lyrics and tell me is isn't a love song made just for gamers.
Thought I was in love before / But I love ya more / So baby come on board / And come away with me / So I can make you see / What you mean to me / And baby we can be... FREE / Under the sea / Just you and me
[#1] Mega Man 2, The Amazing Brando -- "Mega Man 2"
The Adventures of Duane and Brando's Mega Man II is the best of the best. It features the (arguably) best Mega Man game in the original series, lays down lyrics for all the Robot Masters (Metal Man is my personal favorite), and has friendly subtitles for the fans to memorize the music. You can see more music videos at The Amazing Brando's YouTube page, and we're eagerly waiting for the next beat to drop.
