The Fourth of July is awesome. Grilling hot dogs, seeing Will Smith movies, and lighting fireworks is something that America should do more often! And while we thought about boring you with a PSA about firework safety, the Slobs have instead decided to remind you about Boom Boom Rocket and FantaVision: two firework-crazy games that don't even require you to step away from your BBQ ribs!

For the best firework gaming experience you can get, just have a few things handy:

  • A big-ass television
  • FantaVision and a PS2, or Boom Boom Rocket and an X360
  • Huge speakers
  • A DDR pad for multiplayer parties

And presto! Instant, non-injury risk fireworks for everyone! We'll see you guys back here next week, so don't lose any fingers!

Well, its over. However, I can still light stuff till midnight, because here the 5th is the final day for fireworks shooting. How about you guys, is it the same for you or not?

We don't light fireworks in my area. The vampires and werewolves prey upon people foolish enough to be out at night. That, and the light attracts lots of undead minions.

I remember Fantavision though I've never played it.

The whole game was pretty much a showpiece of the PS2's much hyped particle effect capabilities. I've always wanted to give it a try. Even though it didn't get that good of ratings at the time.
